About the artist:
Hi there! I am Alycia Price and I am carving my way as an artist in Littleton, CO. I am a self-taught artist beginning this journey in October 2022 running on my local trail in my neighborhood with my kids in the stroller and dogs on leash. Constantly inspired by the natural world around me, I saw the beautiful fall leaves whispering in the wind and immediately saw my chickens’ feathers at home. To say I love my chickens is an understatement. I thought it would be fun to collect and preserve these leaves and create a chicken out of them when I got home. That is the day that Pure Flora Creations was born. I am a science teacher currently taking a break from the classroom and focusing on being a mom. I am also currently working on my masters in curriculum and instruction for when I do return to the education world while continuing to focus on my journey as an artist. I collect and preserve various leaves, flowers, and grasses and create original pieces that last a lifetime. When not doing art or my masters, you can find me outside being active with my three amazing young children and animals.
